LastPass still has a complete feature set, but the security incidents of late 2022, in which encrypted vault backups were stolen, and the strained communication afterward damaged the trust this product category runs on. Bitwarden does the same job, is open source, regularly audited, and free where LastPass charges; LastPass Free also locks you to one device type. This duel has a clear winner: Bitwarden, and importing from LastPass takes fifteen minutes.
